Visiting Milton Manor House

Dreamily beautiful mellow brick house, traditionally designed by Inigo Jones. Celebrated Gothic library and Catholic chapel. Lived in by the family; pleasant relaxed and informal atmosphere. Park with fine old trees, stables, walled garden and woodland walk. Picnickers welcome.

Please note that we are only open for 30 days a year and that this is a private home. Please do not turn up outside of the dates and times listed below.

2013 - The House and Gardens and are open from Easter Sunday and bank holiday Monday 1st April , Sunday 5th of May and bank holiday Monday 6th May; then Sunday 19th May to Sunday 2nd of June (inclusive) and Sunday 18th August to Sunday 1st of September (inclusive) 2013.

Opening Times: 2p.m. until 5pm

Guided Tours of the house: 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

Visitors do not need to book in advance.

Free parking is available just outside the gates once you pay your entrance fee.

No dogs allowed except for guide dogs.

Things To Do

There are plenty of things to do nearby especially in Oxford which is only a short drive away. A very popular place to visit is the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford.
