Visiting Milton Manor House

Dreamily beautiful mellow brick house, traditionally designed by Inigo Jones. Celebrated Gothic library and Catholic chapel. Lived in by the family; pleasant relaxed and informal atmosphere. Park with fine old trees, stables, walled garden and woodland walk. Picnickers welcome.

Please note that we are only open for 30 days a year and that this is a private home. Please do not turn up outside of the dates and times listed below.

2016 - The House and Gardens and are open on Sunday 27th March and Monday 28th March. Also on Sunday 1st May and Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May and then from Sunday 15th May to Tuesday 31st of May (inclusive) and Sunday 14th August to Wednesday 31st of August (inclusive) 2016.

Opening Times: 2p.m. until 5pm

Guided Tours of the house: 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

Visitors do not need to book in advance.

Free parking is available just outside the gates once you pay your entrance fee.

No dogs allowed except for guide dogs.

Snowdrop Walk Sundays 2016

The grounds, walled garden and tea room are open for you to enjoy the snowdrop trails from 2pm to 5pm on:

Sunday 14th February, Valentines’ day
Sunday 21st February
Sunday 28th February

Children £1
Sorry no dogs.

The snowdrops and winter aconite are flowering in the woodland and other bulbs are putting in an early appearance in the walled garden. This year we have added some challenges for you and your children so come and have fun!

There are plenty of things to do nearby especially in Oxford which is only a short drive away. A very popular place to visit is the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford.
